The Cassiar Cannery is open for self-catered Guest House rentals only. We will back to hosting retreats, experiential programs and events in 2022.
In 2021, in response to travel during COVID, we are extending our minimum stays to four nights in July and August to support Destination BC’s travel advisory of few faces and longer stays. We will be keeping our two night minimum the rest of the year for local getaways.
As always, Cassiar Cannery’s Guest Houses are spotless and special attention is paid to the high contact surfaces with appropriate cleaning products, like Lysol. Linens are dried on high heat. Soft surfaces are sprayed with a no rinse disinfectant spray. Disinfectant wipes are under the kitchen sink.
All Guest Houses are self-contained and we will be moving to contactless check-in in 2021. While we are operating under public health guidelines, entering your Guest House during your stay is not permitted for housekeeping or to collect your garbage and recycling. We will let you know where to take it.
Weather dependent, please leave as many doors and windows as possible open upon departure to move the air through the Guest House.
There will be hand sanitizer at the gate and at the garbage/recycling area.
A member of our family is in the high-risk category so we have to be careful opening our home and interacting with our guests during COVID-19. Please mask if you need to talk to us and we will be masked too. Both your safety and our safety are of paramount importance.
We will continue to follow all updated public health guidelines as we move through 2021.
We are looking forward to seeing those familiar faces we missed in 2020 and meeting some new guests!
