Located on the spectacular North Coast of British Columbia, at the mouth of the Skeena River, Cassiar Cannery has experienced a rich and vibrant history over its 125 years.  Once the longest consecutively operated salmon cannery on the West Coast of Canada, Cassiar Cannery has been undergoing restoration and diversification since the summer of 2006.   Full of character, surrounded by beautiful wilderness scenery, entertained by wildlife and the multitude of resident and migratory birds that enjoy Cassiar Cannery’s rare estuarine ecosystem, Cassiar Cannery is a dynamic and unique part of BC’s history.  Stay with us and, as thousands before you can attest, discover there is something remarkable about this place.

Cassiar Cannery is pleased to offer four self-catered waterfront heritage houses for nightly or executive rentals.   Former homes of the cannery managers, the houses have been restored and are fully furnished with luxury linens and complete kitchens.   Freezer space available for all your fish!  Se habla español.
