Cassiar Cannery is an awesome place. It has lots of fresh air and a great view of the mouth of the Skeena River. The cabins are really nice with the best beds. Can’t wait to come back! RJP, North Vancouver, BC
“Deep Rejuvination and lots of Laughter”
I love coming to Cassiar Cannery. So far it is my third visit and each time has been excellent. Two times have been in the summer and once in the winter, which is equally as enjoyable but with different options for entertainment, activity and relaxation. The air is super fresh, there is an abundance of wildlife to watch, more movies than you can shake a stick at and really clean water. Life is at a slower pace than the big city so it really gives me a chance to slow down and recuperate, definitely helped by the uber-comfortable beds and million dollar view. I love it up there, as do the other members of my family. We have it on our list of must-visit places every year. Lovin’ the North Coast, BC

I have had the good fortune to stay in Sockeye House since its restoration, and it was a very restorative place to stay. My son and I occupied the two tastefully decorated room with their luxurious beds, and enjoyed our afternoons in the light-filled living rooms in front of the spectacular view. Nearly every room in the house has a view, and at the same time the house imparts a sense of privacy and peace.
